They are designed forbalanced transmission lines and are compatiblewith ANSI standard TIA/EIA-485-A and ISO 8482.The A version offers improved switching perfor-mance over its predecessors without sacrificingsignificantly more power.Please be aware that an important notice concerning availability, standard warranty, and use in critical applications ofTexasInstruments semiconductor products and disclaimers thereto appears at the end of this data sheet.†Signaling rate by TIA/EIA-485-A definition restrict transition times to 30% of the bit length, and much higher signaling rates may be achievedwithout this requirement as displayed in the TYPICAL CHARACTERISTICS of this device.LinBiCMOS and LinASIC are trademarks of Texas Instruments.PRODUCTION DATA information is current as of publication date.Products conform to specifications per the terms of Texas Instrumentsstandard warranty. The driver and receiverhave active-high and active-low enables, respectively, which can externally connect together to function as adirection control. The driver differential outputs and the receiver differential inputs connect internally to form adifferential input/output (I/O) bus port that is designed to offer minimum loading to the bus whenever the driveris disabled or VCC = 0. This port features wide positive and negative common-mode voltage ranges, makingthe device suitable for party-line applications. Very low device supply current can be achieved by disabling thedriver and the receiver.AVAILABLE OPTIONSPACKAGETA0°C to 70°C−40°C to 85°C−40°C to 125°CSMALL OUTLINE(D)SN75LBC176ADSN65LBC176ADSN65LBC176AQDPLASTICDUAL-IN-LINESN75LBC176APSN65LBC176AP—schematics of inputs and outputsA InputD, DE, and RE InputsVCC100 kΩ1 kΩInputInput16 V100 kΩ18 kΩ4 kΩVCC8 V16 V4 kΩB InputR OutputVCC16 V40 Ω4 kΩOutputInput8 V100 kΩ16 V4 kΩ18 kΩVCC2POST OFFICE BOX 655303 DALLAS, TEXAS 75265•元器件交易网www.cecb2b.comąSN65LBC176A, SN75LBC176ADIFFERENTIAL BUS TRANSCEIVERSąSLLS376C− MAY 2000 − REVISED DECEMBER 2000absolute maximum ratings†Supply voltage, VCC (see Note 1) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . −0.3 V to 6 VVoltage range at any bus terminal (A or B) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . −10 V to 15 VInput voltage, VI (D, DE, R, or RE) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . −0.3 V to VCC + 0.5 VElectrostatic discharge:Bus terminals and GND, Class 3, A: (see Note 2) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 12 kVBus terminals and GND, Class 3, B: (see Note 2) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 400 VAll terminals, Class 3, A: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 3 kVAll terminals, Class 3, B: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 400 VContinuous total power dissipation (see Note 3) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
