摘要：A method for authenticating an electronic message is presented. The methodincludes embedding a code in an original message in such a way that the code willautomatically be a part of a reply message. The method further includes recording thecode and a recipient of the original message and, upon receiving the reply message,

checking that the code in the reply message matches the code in the original messageand that the reply message is from the recipient of the original message. The method isespecially useful when used in a secured network that allows tracing the message routeto check the recipient. The code may be randomly generated and is preferably difficult toguess. Also presented is a set of computer-readable instructions and systems forexecuting the method.
