Nowadays, many famous university campuses have become one of the popular tourist attractions. Opening of university campus has become a hot issue among people.

Some people think that as a place of education universities should not be open to the activities which have nothing to do with education. Some other people, however, would argue that a university is a public place; consequently, it should be open to the public and people will benefit from the opening of university campus.

In my opinion, university campus should be open to the public. First, universities are public resource as well as places for higher education. People, with an interest in university culture, have the right to visit campus, attending lectures,

seeing exhibitions, and enjoying the beautiful sights of these famous university campuses. Second, universities should hold an open mind to the public, welcoming different cultures as well as different people. Third, in many people’s eyes these famous universities are a holy place, representing a society’s culture and historical essence. When a university campus is open to tourists, it surely would get a good chance to exhibit its charm to the public.

The Moonlight Clan

Nowadays, more and more people, [1]especially the young are joining in the army of “the moonlight clan”. These people exhaust their earnings every month without any savings. [2]Many people think this is a fashionable life style, [2]while more other people object to this kind of consumption style.

[3]Those who support “the moonlight clan” think that those people know how to enjoy life and have a higher life quality. [3]However, more other people criticize “the moonlight clan”. They say that the consumption habit of “the moonlight clan” is unhealthy and sometimes wasteful. In addition, no savings will [4]place “the moonlight clan” in a difficult position [5]in case of unexpected expenses.

[6]Weighing these two arguments, I prefer to the latter one. In my eyes, [7]though “the moonlight clan” may acquire temporary satisfaction from their consumption, [8]in the long term, it [9]is unfavorable to their family and career.
