一、remind的三种主要用法

1. remind sb. of sth. 使某人想起某事

remind sb. of sth.是一个常见的短语，表示某人或某物让某人回忆起过去的事情或经历。sth.可以是名词、动名词或疑问词引导的从句。例如：

注意：remind sb. of sth.表示的是一种主观的感受，所以remind不能用进行时态。例如：

2. remind sb. to do sth. 提醒某人做某事

remind sb. to do sth.是一个常见的短语，表示提醒某人未来要做的事情。to do sth.是一个不定式，表示一个未完成的动作或计划。例如：

Owen reminded his roommate to take out the trash. Owen 提醒他室友去倒垃圾。

注意：remind sb. to do sth.不能用动名词来表示要做的事情，因为动名词表示一个持续的状态或事实。例如：

注意：remind sb. that...中的that可以省略，因为它只是一个引导词，没有实际意义。例如：

Be sure to remind her of the meeting she has to attend. 务必提醒她要参加那次会议。Could you remind Rita about the meeting on Monday? 你可以提醒 Rita 星期一的会议吗？remind sb. of/about one's duty/responsibility/obligation 提醒某人的职责/责任/义务。这个短语表示提醒某人应该做或不应该做的事情。例如：
