T: Our friends Bill and Joy are enjoying their playtime, too. Let’s see together.

Step2 Presentation:

1. Show the main scene of Lesson 2.

T: Let’s see the picture. Can you see grass/trees/…?2. Show a picture about riding a bike.

(1) Lead students to speak the phrase “ride a bike”.T: What can he do?S: Ride a bike.

T: If we don’t know whether someone can ride a bike, how do we ask?S: Can you ride a bike?

(2) Analyze the functional sentence “Can you…?” “Yes, I can.” “No, I can’t.”

4. Watch the video again and imitate sentence by sentence.5. Read the dialogue by groups.
