摘要:A system tracks the effectiveness of advertising across both on-line and off-linemedia. Users define advertisements that are part of an advertising campaign and includein the definition tracking identifiers such as telephone numbers and URL's. The systemtracks inputs that are subsequently received in response to and generated by the various
advertisements. The inputs contain tracking identifier information. The system correlatesthe tracking identifier information from the received user inputs with tracking identifierinformation entered upon definition of advertisements in the system. Thereafter, thesystem generates reports that illustrate the relative effectiveness of the advertisementsin driving inputs.
