摘要：A reflectarray (10) utilizes switching devices (22) with non-ideal impedancecharacteristics to vary the impedance of reflecting elements (12). The antennas of the

reflecting elements are configured as a function of the impedance of the non-idealswitching devices to provide optimal phase-amplitude performance. In particular, theantennas are configured such that the impedance of each antenna is proportional to thesquare root of the impedances of the non-ideal switching devices when in an on state andwhen in an off state.
