When it comes to cooking, I love trying out new recipes and experimenting with different ingredients. One of my favorite things to make is stir-fry, which is a popular dish in Chinese cuisine. To make stir-fry, you'll need a wok or a large skillet, some oil, and a variety of vegetables and proteins.
First, I like to prepare all of my ingredients before I start cooking. This includes chopping up vegetables like bell peppers, onions, and broccoli, as well as slicing proteins like chicken, beef, or tofu. I also like to mix up a simple sauce to add flavor to the dish. This can include soy sauce, oyster sauce, garlic, ginger, and a touch of sugar.
Next, I heat up my wok or skillet over high heat and add some oil. Once the oil is hot, I add in my proteins and
stir-fry them until they're cooked through. Then, I remove them from the wok and set them aside.
In the same wok, I add more oil and then toss in my vegetables. I stir-fry them until they're tender but still crisp, and then add in my sauce. I let everything cook together for a few minutes until the sauce has thickened and coated all of the ingredients.
Finally, I add my proteins back into the wok and stir everything together. I serve the stir-fry hot over a bed of rice and garnish with some chopped green onions or cilantro.
