摘要：A battery pack (60) comprising a power cell (64) for providing power to a load(68) or for receiving a charge from a charger (68), a first protection circuit (61) forprotecting from overvoltage and/or overcurrent conditions, and a second protectioncircuit (62) for protecting from overtemperature conditions. The protection circuits
independently control one or more electronic switching devices (66A,66B), through whichpasses substantially all of the current supplied by the power cell (64). When overvoltageand/or overcurrent conditions exist, the first protection circuit (61) causes at least one ofthe switching devices (66A,66B) to move to a non-conducting condition. Similarly, when anovertemperature condition exists, the second protection circuit (62) causes at least oneof the switching devices (66A,66B) to move to a non-conducting condition.
