3. Deviations of the Revision B Engineering Samples to the Target Specification
The ZMD31050 Revision B engineering samples have the following deviations to the target specification. The deviations as started below represent all deviations currently known to ZMD.
However, there may be more deviations which have not been registered and described so far because of incomplete tests. ZMD does not assume any responsibility for the completeness of the deviations listed below.
3.1 Testing
Regarding tested functions and parameters the tests of the Revision B engineering samples are shortened in comparison with the future tests for serial parts.
The Revision B engineering samples are not tested at the edge of the specified operation temperature range as it is envisaged for the future serial parts. They are only tested at an ambient temperature of about 25°C.
3.2 Functions & Parameters
There are no known deviations in functions & parameters between the revision B engineering samples and the target specification.
4. Marking
Future serial packaged parts will be marked with 3 letters after the “ZMD31050” string, e.g. “ZMD31050BIF”.
- the first letter identifies the revision
- the second letter represents the temperature range
- the third letter is reserved for package and delivery identification
There are the following options for the 2nd letter:
- “C” = Consumer application with temperature range 0 to +70°C - “I” = Industrial application with temperature range -25 to +85°C
- “A” = Automotive application with temperature range –40 to +125°C
- “E” = Automotive application with Extended temperature range –40 to +150°C
The revision B engineering samples don’t have this medium letter because they are not specified and tested for certain application areas / temperature ranges.
In the opposite to the future serial parts the revision B engineering samples in packaged form (SSOP16) are marked with the additional sign “ES” (“engineering sample”) right to the date code. Future serial parts will not have this “ES” sign.
