民主论文：从逻辑与历史的角度认识“人民民主是社会主义的生命”

【中文摘要】2007年10月,总在十七大报告中明确提出：“人民民主是社会主义的生命。”这是对社会主义建设规律与实践的正确认识和总结。但是,为什么是这样?需要理性地论证和历史的说明,至今却未见到过认真论证和说明的文章。本文坚持理论和实践相结合,着重于从逻辑和历史两个角度说明人民民主是社会主义的生命。通过对民主和社会主义理论追根溯源,详细阐述了二者之间的本质契合之处,从而揭示出民主和社会主义的不可分割的内在关联。在此基础上,运用充分的历史材料说明：在社会主义事业取得胜利和不断发展的过程中,民主发挥了积极作用；而在社会主义事业遭遇挫折的时期,都是民主较为缺乏或被破坏的时候。由此,要妥善解决我国现阶段内存在的由于民主制度不健全所造成的各种社会矛盾,就应当毫不动摇地坚持社会主义民主政治建设,进一步推动和社会政治改革。本文在内容上分为五个部分：第一部分为绪论部分,说明研究的背景、和意义、国内外研究现状、思路方法和创新之处。第二

部分通过对民主和社会主义理论产生发展过程的阐述,解释和说明了民主和社会主义的概念。“民主”的本真意义就是主权在民,作为一种政治制度,其本质要求是人民积极且能动地参与政治。对“社会主义”的诠释,是通过阐述从空想社会主义者的构想到马克思主义者提出的有关社会主义的设想,从中总结出社会主义的精髓所在。第三部分是逻辑论证部分,通过运用和分析关‘于民主和社会主义的主要理论,揭示出二者所具有的共同基础、共同追求、共同原则和共同保证,从而论证了民主和社会主义是本质契合的,二者是内在统一的关系。第四部分是史实说明部分,通过运用大量的历史材料说明从世界上第一个社会主义国家的建立,到社会主义初步探索中的曲折,再到社会主义国家的重新振作,都与民主有着密不可分的关系。历史事实启示我们,民主对社会主义的存在和发展起着至关重要的作用,“没有民主,就没有社会主义。”最后一部分是现实研究部分,在肯定改革开放所取得的成就的基础上,坚持实事求是,全面客观的看问题,对当前中国社会矛盾进行分析、总结,指出这些问题和矛盾的存在很大程度上是因为民主制度的不完善、不健全。由此明确得出结论,面对今天所取得的成就和问题,中国应当继续推进民主政治建设,只有坚定不移的发展人民民主,才能使社会主义保持强大的生命力和奋勇向前的活力。

【英文摘要】On October2007, President Hu Jintao stated explicitly at the17th Conference of Parties that “the people’s democracy is the core of socialism”. This is the proper

recognition and summary of socialist construction and practice. However, until now, there had been no logical explanation about the reason for this statement.This paper focuses on combining both practice and theory to analyze the statement-”people’s democracy is the core of socialism” from a logical and historical perspective. By researching the dynamic development of democracy and Socialist theory and explaining the relationship between them, this paper demonstrates the inner connection between democracy and socialism. Moreover, this article uses sufficient historical materials to explain that democracy played a positive role during the development of socialist construction and its’successful outcome; meanwhile, when democracy is destroyed, socialist construction is impeded. Therefore, under the current social development level of China, in order to solve the social contradictions which are lacking in the democracy system, it is necessary to insist on improving the socialist construction and reforming the political system.This paper is consisted of5parts. The first part is the preface, which states the background, goals and values of this research, the current research status of China and other counties, the logic clue and the innovative points. The second

part analyzes the course of the development of democracy and socialism, and clarifies the conceptions of democracy and socialism. The core of democracy is that the people need to be empowered. As for the political system, the fundamental requirement is to ensure the people can participate actively in political activities. The explanation of socialism is from summarizing the course of Utopian socialism to the essence of socialism of Marxism. The third part demonstrates the connection between the main theory of democracy and socialism, including the common foundations, goals, principles and insurances. Therefore, by analysis of those, the unification of the main theory of democracy and socialism are demonstrated. The fourth part is a historical statement. The paper uses a lot of historical facts to explain that democracy is a crucial element of socialism. The last part analyzes the current society. Based on the success of reform and open-up policy, China should insist on seeking the truth from facts and treat problems by using comprehensive and objective perspectives. By analyzing the current social contradictions of China, it is obvious that the reasons for these social contradictions were mainly due to the incompletion of the democratic system. In

conclusion, in order to maintain the vitality of socialism, it is necessary to insist on political re-construction.
