Dear boys and girls,

This is Li Hua, a host of the school's English radio station. The following is a brief introduction to the station.

The station, set up recently, is on air from 8 a.m. till 5 p.m., every weekday. Its listeners are never supposed to be bored while listening to 8 different programs and 12 hosts. In the programs, you can listen to popular English songs, enjoy excellent articles, know about the latest English movies and be taught better ways of learning English with great fun. We'll try our best to make the programs interesting and instructive. The English radio station spares and will spare no effort to educate and entertain its listeners.

Last Saturday I joined a voluntary activity which was organized by the students' union of our school. My classmates and I took a bus and went to the Animal Rescue Center in our city, where some stray dogs and cats are kept. As soon as we arrived, the workers told us how these animals were collected and

what they did to help them. Then we were divided into small groups and helped them clean the cages. We were given some food to feed these animals.

I learned a lot from this activity. Animals need our care and attention, so we should devote our time to taking care of them.

As a principal of the English corner, I am writing to inform you of what may interest about the outdoor activity I will organize.

I will organize this activity for all members of our English corner to practice oral English and promote understanding with each other. In the process of the activity we can use English to municate and more importantly, we can apply what we have learned to practice. At the same time, we can get refreshed and feel more energetic.
